These Pacific spiny oyster shells are sold by the shell. You do not get a top and bottom shell. The #1 shells have nicer color on the tops of the shells and are on average bigger than the #2 shells.
The Red Orange #1 shells are approximately 4" to 5" long and 4.25" to 6" wide. Each shell weighs approximately 0.6 to 1.1 pounds. The Red Orange #2 shells are approximately 4" to 4.5" long and 4" to 6" wide. Each shell weighs approximately 0.4 to 1.1 pounds.
The Purple #2 shells are approximately 7" long and 5.25" to 6" wide. Each shell weighs approximately 1.4 to 2.4 pounds each.
