The pointer feathers come from the turkey wing and are 10" - 14" long.   These feathers come as a mix of left and right wing feathers.  The plumage feathers are 2" to 2.5" wide in the middle and come from the body of the turkey.  These are only sold by the pound.

Turkeys are not endangered.
